Hello. my name is John and I'm a 3rd year student at the University of Cumbria (formerly Cumbria Institute of the Arts) studying Multimedia Design and Digital Animation (MMDADA).

When I'm not sat in front of a computer doing work for Uni you'll probably find me either up a climbing wall, behind my D40 camera or back in front of the computer doing some level design. In my final year I'm in charge of the University's little climbing club running the twice weekly climbing sessions and organising trips to other walls and outdoor crags. It's all good fun and you meet a lot of people, ending each night of climbing in the pub isn't half bad either!

After doing a Photography AS level at sixth form I was bitten by the photography bug, frustrated at the lack of a A2 level course it lay dormant in the background until I chose a Black and White photography elective at Uni. Photography courses were my second choice at all the of Universities I applied to for if I didn't get into a multimedia based course.

When I don't feel like any think that equires physical exertion I sit down at my PC and work on a mod I am co-leading with a friend of mine Neil "Trp. Jed" Jedrzejewski called "Ham and Jam". We decided to make this WW2 Mod because we were fed up with the world forgetting about everything else that happened in the war aside from what the US Army touched from 1944 onwards. We hope to blend a mix of authentic locations with fun gameplay to make an enjoyable experience in places that tend to get looked over such as Norway, North Africa and the Far East. I work on this in my spare time with around 5 other people based across the globe.
